Elemix Rules
Set Up: Both players have decks with 40 cards each. When you start you take out your 3 bases and set them in a row, in front of you. Then both players draw 5 cards.
Start Your Turn: After each player draws 5 cards, flip a coin to decide who plays their hand first. Once a player order has been established, the first player flips the coin to determine whether you can play 2 or 3 cards from your hand. If the coin lands on heads, you can play 3 cards, if tails you can play only 2 cards. Each turn you can play action cards or creature cards. To play you cards place them in a row in front of your bases. Once your cards are on the playing field, you can attack you opponent with your creature cards if you desire. (To see more information on attacking look for the âAttackingâ section in the rules.) Once you have attacked your turn ends and you draw cards from your deck until you have 5 cards in your hand again.
How to Win: The goal of the game is to destroy all your opponentâs bases with your creatures and action cards. You must eliminate all your opponentâs creatures on the playing field before you can attack you opponents bases.
Attacking: Each card has both âpowerâ and âhealthâ points. When you attach you subtract the âpowerâ points of the attacking card from the âheathâ points of the card you are attacking. When the card being attacked reaches â0â health points it is removed from the playing field and placed to the side, in a discard pile.
Action Cards: Action cards have an effect when you play them. After playing them, they are moved to the discard pile. Some action cards are linking action cards that become attached to a creature. Anything that happens to the creature also happens to the action card linked to it. You can only have one action card linked to one other card.
Important Notes: Bases can only be brought back once. Creatures become exhausted after attacking, they reset after your turn ends.
